Formal classes at St Chad's Sanctuary

Our formal classes are from Pre-entry (beginner) level to Entry 3 (pre-intermediate) level.

We do not have any spaces in our formal classes at the moment. Please join our Telegram group to receive a notification when we start registering new students again.

 

Informal English sessions at St Chad's Sanctuary

Fun with English

Have fun, make new friends and learn English. All levels welcome.

Mondays 2pm – 4pm. (Please arrive by 1.45pm.) 

This is a drop-in class. You don’t need to register. You must be 18 years old or over. You can not bring babies or children to this session.

There will not be a class on Monday 27th October because it is the half term break.

 

Conversation Cafe

Improve your English speaking and listening skills. All levels welcome.

Wednesdays 11am – 1pm. (Please arrive by 10.45am.) 

This is a drop-in class. You don’t need to register. You must be 18 years old or over. You can not bring babies or children to this session.

There will not be a class on Wednesday 29th October because it is the half term break.

 

Other activities at St Chad's Sanctuary

Art class

Tuesdays 11am – 12.30pm. All welcome. 

This is a drop-in class. You don’t need to register. You must be 18 years old or over. You can not bring babies or children to this session.

There will not be a class on Tuesday 28th October because it is the half term break.

 

Games club

Fridays 2.00 - 3.30pm. All welcome.

This is a drop-in session. You don’t need to register. You must be 18 years old or over. You can not bring babies or children to this session.

There will not be a Games Club on Friday 31st October because it is the half term break.

 

English classes at college

 You should be able to attend college if:

  • you are an asylum seeker and have been in the UK for more than 6 months
  • you have already received Leave to Enter (LTE) or Refugee status, even if you arrived less than 6 months ago

Many of the courses in central Birmingham have long waiting lists.
